Celebrity Scandal!

Sex and the City is now out and playing, but there are spoilers running rampant on the internet and I don’t dare look at any of my usual girly-themed blogs like I usually do. If the situation is already this bad, then I think I’m going to need to get to the theaters immediately to avoid stumbling into the mess and finding out the ending or any other massive spoilers. These bloggers are just waiting for a scandal with their massive spoilers. . . But how about the ones who have already posted the ending on their Facebook status reports? Isn’t there a punishment for that or something?

Even if I do accidentally find out the ending for this one, hopefully I won’t have that problem when the next one comes out! There are just rumors swirling right now, but considering the success of this one, I feel that it’s shaping up to be a reality.

It has been ruled that Britney Spears is still not fit enough to participate in her own trial, according to her lawyer. What a blow– I’m sure that she was expecting another answer, but relaxing on vacation with Mel Gibson just won’t cut it! Late this week, Samuel Ingham (Brit’s lawyer) spent about 90 minutes along with her lawyer for the conservator (otherwise known as her dad). It was reported that Britney’s condition is now “fluid.”

I’m kind of confused about what this means, and I would love an explanation. It was clarified that her treatment is changing, but I still don’t get it. Help, please?

Ashlee Simpson is pregnant, and she’s finally admitted it after a lot of speculation that turned out to be 100% right. On her new husband’s websites FriendsorEnemies.com, she released the following statement:

“This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

The happy couple were waiting until Ashlee’s trimester had slipped safely by before they announced the news. I’m still wondering why Ashlee’s honeymoon stomach looked so flat, though! I’m so surprised that just a few weeks ago she looked so tiny, and then she exposed the start of a  big belly bump blossoming over her jeans. What gives?!

Whatever Real World’s Brianna ends up doing, I hope that it isn’t fashion-related. The girl loves her hot pants and her tiny, little pants, even for court and the like. Even though this girl has some serious pipes and that’s pretty impressive, she needs to hire a stylist or at least swap her, um, work clothes for street clothes. Hot pants are the new sweats!

Word has it that Brianna might be getting some cash to buy a news wardrobe soon, since she’ll be releasing a debut album soon. You can listen to her tracks on her music MySpace page for now.

Mariah landed in Japan this week, where she’s kind of a Big Deal, and even tried to throw a baseball at the Yomiuri Giants game in Tokyo. You can watch her here looking like she was loving every minute of it in her short shorts and satin jacket. Sigh. Mariah Carey may have a ridiculously awesome closet and apartment, but her style isn’t quite as cool as where the pieces are stored.

Well, if Mariah ends up losing all her fans from bad business moves, she just needs to remember that there’s always Japan. I’m not sure if her new hubby Nick would be up to the move, though!

Denise Richards really does love that drama, doesn’t she? This week alone she has spilled more details about her abusive ex husband Charlie Sheen, saying that he told her to “Rot in hell you ****** whore.” Sigh. As if her reality show (which, alas, I didn’t get a chance to watch last night but will be reporting on fully tomorrow) weren’t enough.

Imagine when her children get old enough to learn all the sh*t that has gone down. Especially after Whoopi Goldberg lit into Denise on The View about dragging her kids into the mess. . . it’s certainly put a damper on things even further.

Shall we hope for an early cancellation?

What do you think about Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson, now that they’re been seen canoodling in Cannes? Kate just broke up with Owen Wilson recently, but she made short work of the relationship grieving period, that’s for sure. Kate’s already been seen hanging out with Lance at parties, boating, driving, and really making it obvious that they’re an item. Ug. I wish they could have just kept things under the radar to make sure that Owen doesn’t do anything. . . rash.

What’s you take on it? Is Kate looking a little too b*tchy, or is this expected for this on-and-off (now really, really off) couple?

So Madonna had the pleasure of being interviewed on Nightline, where she proved that being fifty certainly doesn’t prevent anyone from dropping the f-bomb. After being asked about how people might make comments about her and her age, she said “F–k you, I’m 50.” Nice, Madonna, way to keep everyone loving you as you tour.

I love, love, love it: Ashlee and Pete managed to slip under the radar for real! Oh, yeah– despite the fact that they were definitely caught in their wedding preparations, that wasn’t the case for their honeymoon in the Caribbean. Ashlee was seen frisking around in a bikini without a tummy bump to show for it, either. Do you think she’s not actually pregnant? (I did think that it was pretty surprising when Pete still didn’t deny/confirm her possible pregnancy , though.)

I was certainly impressed with their ability to get all stealth after that mess!

Yeah, right! Tila Tequila recently said that she wants to get away from reality TV and get her life headed in another direction. She recently opened up on Tila’s Hot Spot:

I wanna do meaningful stuff. After a while you reach your goals and then what? You just prance around like Paris Hilton all day long and feel like you have to find the next scandal to stay big.

This would make a lot more sense if reality TV hadn’t like, made her. Talk about an ungrateful gal. . . and I have a feeling that Tila loooooves scandals to boot. What will her next step be?
