Tim Russert’s Death a Surprise, NBC Mourns
Tim Russert has passed away from a heart attack at 58, which makes him younger than my dad and that makes me feel uncomfortable, to say the least. The TV newsman was at work when he collapsed, and he certainly will be missed. Many of us remember him as the face of “Meet the Press” and an awesome figure in the political world. Tim has just returned from family celebrations in Italy when his died, with MSNBC reporting that an autopsy has shown that cholesterol led to him rupturing his artery and suffering from a heart attack.
